New 5km Personal Best!!

I went for a 5km run at lunch time today, and set out with a goal of getting some where close to my previous personal best of 25min 45sec, as it happens I beat that with a time of 23min 14sec! WOOO! I am obviously well pleased with that.

I am to get my 5km to below 22 minutes by the end of the year, which I believe is very achievable if I keep up my current training, this does depend on how the lower back pain goes, which is still causing me problems some 3 weeks on, although it is improving.

Rest of the weeks training (Hard cycle to work and back each day):

  • Tommorow – Hard gym session
  • Thursday – Kick Boxing
  • Friday – Rest
  • Saturday – Slow 10km
